Explanation:

I had a university friend who went to Australia for higher studies and then he started doing his job there and now he is settled in Sydney Australia. He often asked me to pay him a visit. I then planned a visit to him. It was two weeks trip. My friend took me to several places in Australia. Some of the major areas were the Sydney Harbour Bridge, Opera in Sydney, Great Ocean Road Victoria and Kakadu National Park and a forest near Sydney. It was overall a remarkable trip for me

Hi, Sandy.

How are you doing? I believe your finals are nearing. I wanted to share you about a recent historical trip I went to through this letter. We went to Vijaya Vittala Temple at Hampi, Karnataka because we have heard about its magnificent craftsmanship and unique structure from our seniors.

You wouldn't believe how astounding the trip was. The moment we reached there, we were taken aback by its glorious beauty. It is said that the temple was built during the 15th under the reign of King Devaraya II. It was built to honour the Hindu god Lord Vitthala, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu.

But the most overwhelming and unmatched beauty and feature of this temple were the pillars. The pillars produce seven different musical sounds if when struck with a hard object. It really blew our minds. Many scholar and architectures are still in awe of how it was possible to craft such complicated pillars that produce musical notes during olden days.

If you ever visit India, you should visit  Vijaya Vittala Temple at Hampi, Karnataka. It is an ancient marvel. Also, it has been recognized as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Perhaps, its beauty and magnificent craftsmanship and structure is something to be preserved forever in time.

Anyways thanks for reading my letter and I look forward to hearing from you very soon. Please don't forget to write about your summer trip to me. Thank you.
