         5x - 75 = y - 15

         5x - y = 75 - 15

According to the second statement

         3x + 45 = y + 15

         3x - y = 15 - 45

         3x - y = -30 .................................................(2)

substracting equation (2) frim (1)

         2x = 60 + 30

          x = 90/2
