I drank cider outside in a park when I was staying with my dad for the weekend when I was 14, in the capital city. He could smell it on my breath right away and I confessed. Nothing happened - he used to be 14, too. I was afraid, though, but not afterwards. He let me have a taste of aquavit - my dad believes in letting children have tiny tastes of alcohol so there’s nothing “special” about it. As it happens, I drink alcohol maybe 1–2 per month - I don’t care for it especially, it’s a festive thing in small quantities.

I hung out with a guy friend (with benefits) when I was 15 or 16. We had gone to his place, or his grandpa’s place and were hanging out in the cabin in the garden that had a fireplace. Incidentally my phone battery died so I couldn’t call my mom to tell her I wasn’t coming home. I mean, she knew where I was, but, I mean, would she rather I walk through the town at 3 am? So I stayed there, we made out, fell asleep. Of course, she was rather miffed and not that happy, but nothing happened. I mean, I promised to tell her next time and she could generally trust me 99% of the time, so no big deal.

My mom only ever grounded me once when I was playing outside when I was about 8 or 9 and she couldn’t find me during the rain - I had been sheltering with some friends in another apartment building. She never did it again - there was no need for it. My parents are generally reasonable and remember themselves when they were children and teenagers - I think this awareness helps a lot in tempering reactions.

Why are antiviral mattress protectors a priority for health and safety?

A mattress protector or a mattress cover is essentially a bedding item made to encase your mattress to protect you and your sleep

When I was in elementary school…there was a very tall tree that my friends and I passed by every day…I told my dad about the tall tree and he told me to stay away from it.

Well being a kid and not having much sense; a friend of mine and I decided to climb that tree.. We were able to get into it fairly easily..we climbed and we climbed until the branches we were in started to sway with the wind..

We climbed even higher, I don’t remember why this was a good idea at the time. The upper branches were really swaying at this point.. We were both very scared.. We yelled at the smarter friends who decided not to climb the tree to get help…

The fire department arrived and shortly after that so did our parents. My dad told me to get down but I couldn’t go down. The fire department sent up a bucket with a fireman in it. The fireman in the bucket couldn’t reach us.. The fireman kept trying to talk us into climbing down; but we couldn’t.

My dad who didn’t really like heights got in the bucket and got as close as he could with the bucket.. He then talked my friend and me slowly into getting down until he could get us in the bucket…

I was grounded for a couple of weeks if I remember right. I was grateful for the grounding after my dad saved us.
