Margot is Anne Frank’s elder sister.

Margot is intelligent and soft spoken. Often, Anne gets compared with Margot, much to her irritation. Margot does not talk much or offer opinion of any kind. She is obviously her mother’s favourite. For all these reasons, Anne and Margot are not very close with each other.
