- Cair Paravel was a huge palace of Narnia in its Golden Age. The White Witch ruled then. During that age it was said that -
When Adam's flesh and Adam's bone;
Sits at Cair Paravel in throne;
The evil time will be over and done.
It was a prophecy by the Narnians, that scared Jadis, the witch and so she tried to kill Pevensie Children in the Battle Of Beruna, but failed.
Triumphed over Jadis, Peter became the high king, Edmund the king, and Susan as well as Lucy were Queens. They sat at the thrones of Cair Paravel, and ruled for 20+ years.
But in the sequel, after Telmarines attack Narnia, they reduce Cair Paravel to dust, and all remains of it are the ruins.
