Traffic jam causes serious problems in case of heavy rains. It brings multiple problems with itself.It gives way to flood in worse conditions. From where ever the flood sweeps it leaves nothing behind. Heavy rains destroy lands, countless houses and buildings. They road get clogged due to the cascade of water. Cars get stuck. Sometimes traffic is jammed so badly that people get stuck on roads for hours. At times ambulances also get trapped in the middle of all this havoc. There are times when there are serious patients in the ambulances, as nothing could be done with first aid and due to not reaching at hospital on time many has to give up their life. Children get late for schools. Men and women get late for their jobs. Thus heavy rain can severely affect the whole system id there is no proper drainage system.
