Soil erosion is the continous process of removal of top soil

Gully erosion

It takes place in areas of no or very little vegetation cover. Due to heavy down pour , the water flows along continois paths forming gullies and ravines which deepen and widen causing gully erosion

Rill erosion

It takes place due to the fast flowing river water.

Finger like rills are formed which deepen and widen.

Similiar to gully erosion but less intense.

Answer:

Gully erosion is a widespread and often dramatic form of soil erosion caused by flowing surface water. It consists of open, unstable channels that have been cut more than 30 centimetres deep into the ground. Gully erosion is a result of the interaction of land use, climate and slope.
