Follow the following steps to be able to teach complex and simple sentences effectively:-
- Just like any subject, this too requires step, 1
1- Familiarize your students with the meaning of these sentences
2- Describe whats meant by simple sentences, i.e That simple sentences have only one clause.
3- Now describe whats meant by a clause. ( i.e. a sentence which contains a verb and a subject, at least 1 of each)
4- Now describe how, verbs are doing words, that indicate action and that subject is the topic of concern, i.e a noun( name, place, animal, thing) it may be common or proper.
5- Now look at a few examples, use assistance from web.
6- Now make them practice and identify those things.
7- Now familiarize them with independent clauses, which are a part of complex sentences.
