You can take some hot water and cold water ( just be sure that it does not harm your skin.. take a comfortable temperature.)

first, touch something (like a glass)

Now, dip your hand in some hot water and touch the same thing.( you will feel it to be much colder though it is of the same temperature)

wait for your hand to cool down and come back at its original temperature.

Now, dip your hand in some cold water and touch the same thing again.( you will feel it to be much warmer though it is of the same temperature).

you might have experienced the same thing when you have a fever.. when your family members touch you, they would say that you have gained temperature while you may say that their hand feels cold.
