Question 1 : You go to a market and ask for 3 3/4 kg of rice . But the shopkeeper said that I have only 1 4/6 kg of rice . How much kg of rice will be remaining to be in the next shop ?

Answer : Amount needed : 3 3/4 or 15/4

               Amount Bought : 1 4/6  or 10/6

                Amount remaining :  15/4  - 10/6

                          LCM = 12

                        So 45-20/12

                      =  25 / 12

                      =  2 1/12    

Question 2 :    For Anush's recipe , he needed 2 5/6 kg of tomato 3 4/8 of potato and 1/2gram of salt . Total Weight of Ingredient needed is ?

Answer  :   Tomato = 2 5 / 6  or 17/6

                    Potato  =  3 4/8  or 14/6

                     Salt  = 1/2  or         3/6

          Total Amount needed = 17 + 14 + 3 /6 = 34/3

       Answer = 34/3 or 11   1/3
