The green revolution introduced by MS Swaminathan ...was a great profitable.change in agricultural history but this profit was turned to a loss by the excessive use of the facilities. .... i.e. in green revolution HYV seeds were used which gav gud output only when high input is provided to them ...like in cultivation of HYV seeds abundant amount of water with certain amounts of fertilizer and so on are needed ...but most of the places in india ..large amount of fertilizers were used ..which lead to decrease in land fertility ..which directly lead to more use of fertlizer again n again ...nd as its obvious more the fertilizer is also harm fr humans ....this lead to decline in food production
