Trees take up carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and release oxygen. These natural cycles are also hindered due to loss of trees. Due to trees there is shade, cooler atmosphere and increase in the rainfall. When such trees are destroyed all the components in the ecosystem are destroyed too.
