The first world war started on 28th July,1914. The main reason for the war to get triggered is the assassination of the crowned prince of Austria-Hungary and the other main reason was the newly raising power of the Germany and Italy trying to compete against the old emerged power Britain for things like raw materials, colonies, places to settle their capitals and earn profit.

The second world war started on 1st September 1939. The main reason for this war to get triggered is the entry of the Nazi Germany army tanks into Poland for taking over the port of danzig. Little did Hitler the leader of the Nazi Germany party knew that Poland had a pact with the most powerful Britain.
The injustice done to the countries that lost the world war 1 they are Germany, Italy and Japan they had to pay the war money for compulsion and even they had to lose a large part of their territory because the countries that had won the war wanted to re-draw their boundary and according to the Treaty of Versailles they had to give away their colonies away to the countries that won the war. This was the reason for the rise of the Nazism in the countries that lost the war because of hatred.

There are many long term causes also for the triggering of the both deadliest wars ever were -
1. Aggressive Nationalism
2. Imperialism
3. Militarism
4. Alliance
5. Craving for power and authority

Destruction causes by both of the wars -
(i) Loss of massive amount of the human live either they were normal civilians or even the one in the army. Almost 10 million people were killed in the first world war. 20 to 30 million people were killed in the second world war and many were left out with a lot of injuries .

(ii) When it comes to the economic loss the countries that were involved in the war either directly or indirectly they had to suffer a lot because of wars because people had to pay a lot of taxes so that the country can send food, clothing, medicine to the war fare to help the army. People had to sell away their farmlands in order to earn money to pay the taxes. Even though they were able to pay tax and grow any kind of crops the market rate of any of the crop at that time was very less.

(iii) Great depression took place in between the first and the second world war. It had a major impact on the economy of the countries because had lost their jobs and they couldn't do anything about it because the world market got crashed at that time. People's ability of buying things also got reduced.

(iv) Even though the League of nations was there it could not stop the wars because the nations were too aggressive and even they also thought that war only brought peace but actually peace starts with a smile not doubts and all kind of things they used money i.e. the weapons.

(v) The both wars not only had impact on the people but also the planet Earth because the usage of the nuclear weapons. They were used to destruct Hiroshima and Nagasaki more than 2 lakh people immediately and it had an impact even after the bombing like cancer.

Many wars were fought before but no other was as deadly and even harsh as these two. And for now the world is a peaceful place but yet there are a lot of chances for the start of another war.

help,here is your answer

BRIEF EXPLANATION:

--------First World War

*****an estimated 1.3 million casualties, including 100,000-260,000 civilians, and unknown numbers of soil erosion, deforestation, and water contamination in areas were caused by chemical weapons.

*****In the vietnam war the US military used more than 20 million gallons of herbicides, which were sprayed by the US to defoliate forests, clear growth along the borders of military sites and eliminate enemy crops.

*****The chemical agents gave the US an advantage in wartime efforts. However, the vegetation was unable to regenerate and left behind bare mudflats even years after spraying. Not only was the vegetation effected, but also the wildlife:

*****a mid-1980s study by Vietnamese ecologists documented just 24 species of birds and 5 species of mammals present in sprayed forests and converted areas, compared to 145-170 bird species and 30-55 kinds of mammals in intact forest.

*****The uncertain long term effects of these herbicides are now being discovered by looking at modified species distribution patterns through habitat degradation and loss in wetland systems, which absorbed the runoff from the mainland.

--------World War II

*****saw a big increase in industrial production and global transportation to meet the needs of the fighting armies, and this would have increased atmospheric pollution detrimental to the environment.

*****After the World World War II , in the European Nations the environment was affected by the millions of tons of rubble, hundreds of military armament and vehicles left strewn all over the lands.

***** Oil and gasoline and other chemicals spoiled the ground, ground water and rivers. Oceans were damaged by the oils and other chemicals leaking out of sunken ships and submarines. The cargo on the sunken ships polluted the oceans too.
