Here given


a3 = 9 ⇒ a + 2d = 9 ....(i)


a8 – a5 = 6


⇒ (a + 7d) – (a + 4d) = 6


⇒ 3d = 6


⇒ d = 2 ....(ii)  


Substituting (ii) in (i), we get


⇒ a + 2(2) = 9


⇒ a = 5


So, AP is 5, 7, 9, 11, .....
