These are the conditions that has to be satisfied :

⇒ a + b > c

⇒ a + c > b

⇒ b + c > a


Let us check by putting :

a = 6

b = 11

c = 19


a + b = 6 + 11

= > a + b = 17


But c = 19 .

a + b = 17


Hence a + b < c


For a triangle to be possible it has to satisfy all the conditions mentioned earlier .

This is the test for identifying triangles.
