let a be 1st term n d be the common difference

3rd term= a+2d=16
5th term= a+4d
7th term= a+6d

7th term - 5th term= 2d=12
=> d=6

hence a+2d=16
=> a=4

hence AP is 4, 10, 16, 22, 28, 34, 40......
