acceleration = total force / total mass
= F/(3+2) = F/5

there is olny 1 F acting on mass m2 and both m1 and m2 are in contact then the force is applicable on both means whole sys
as f= ma ,a= f/m
if both the block are in contact like one after another horizontally then only this is applicable
