Step-by-step explanation:

Objective

To find out the relation between theoretical and experimental probability.

Material required

1-Coin

2-Calculator

Procedure

Theoretical probability of tossing a coin and getting a head or a tail can be found out by following method.

The probability of getting a head by tossing a coin = 1/2

Since, it is tossed 15 times = 1/2 x 15 = 7.5

Same is the case with tails = 7.5

Now, if we want to find out the experimental probability, we need to toss the coin by our self. Then, we will divide the number of times a head comes to 15 e.g. total number of tosses and same when tail comes.

In our case

Probability of head = 4/15

Probability of tail = 11/15

Observation

The values for both are different

Result

Both the values are independent of each other
