Determine the Molarity and the strength of a solution of 250 gram of NaOH solution if the volume of the solution is 750g ml?

Molarity= Moles of solute /ltre of the solution

Now moles of solute (NaOH)

= 250g/40 g/mole

=25/4 mole

Now ,

molarity =  \frac{ \frac{25}{4} \: mole }{0.75 \: litre}  \\  \\ molarity = 8.333  \frac{mole}{litre}

ANSWER = 8.333 M
