A can do a piece of work in 8 days and B can do the work in 12 days if they work on alternate days then how many days the work be finished?

A can do 3units/day
B can do 2units/day
if they work alternatively fst A starts...so,it follows like this

we get 9days for 23 units bt we need 24units to be finished
so they take 9 1/2 days to finish the work
