Solution:-

Given:-

Wavelength(\lambda ) = 650nm

=> 6.5 × 10^-7 m

To determine the energy of a photon is given by

E = h\sf\dfrac{c}{\lambda}

E = \sf\dfrac{(6.626 × 10^{-34}Js)(3 × 10^{8}m/s)}{6.5 × 10^{-7}m}

After solving this we will get,

E = \sf{3.051 × 10^{-19}Joules}

Hence, the energy of given photon is 3.051 × 10^-19 J.
