determine the point on the graph of the linear equation 2x+5y-19 whose ordinate is 1and half times of the abscissa

Ordinate is y sogiven that y=1.5x

so substitute y in terms of x so

2x+7.5x-19=0

so 9.5x=19 so x is 2 and y is 3
