=>X=2k+1/k+1..........eq1

Y=m1x2+m2x1/m1+m2

=>(k)(7)+(1)(3)/k+1

=>Y=7k+3/k+1..........eq2

From equation given in question,

3x+y-9=0

3x=9-y

Put values of x and y from equation 1 and 2 above and you will get k=3:4
