Let the ratio be a:1
X = (3a+2)/a+1
Y=(7a-2)/a+1
2x+y-4=0
After putting value of x and y... it will be
[2(3a+2)+7a-2]/a+1=4
=> 6a+4+7a-2 = 4a +4
=> 6a+4+7a-2 =4a+4
=> 9a = 2
=> a = 2/9
Therefore the ratio will be 2:9
Hope this helps you friend
