The third side will be less than (5+9)cm.

thekootramdas: can u please sole and show
thekootramdas: solve and show
AshKetcham007: In the absence of extra details the exact value of the third side
thekootramdas: please sole it
thekootramdas: solve it
AshKetcham007: In the absence of extra details the exact value of the third side cannot be found but according to a theory of triangle inequalities , the sum of any two sides of a triangle must be greater than the third side. So,in this triangle the third side will be less than the sum of other two sides that is, 3rd side < 5+9 cm
thekootramdas: solve it please

According to the triangle properties, the third side should be less than the sum of the other twosides, and greater than the difference of other twosides. Here, the two sides are 5cm and 9cm. So sum of the two sides =9+5=14. Difference of the two sides=9-5=4. So the third side is must be greater than 4,and less than 14. KEEP SMILING

AshKetcham007: Good!
shaun5: Thanks
