determine the volume of a conical vessel having radius of the base 5 cm and its slant height as 13 cm .(use π= 3•14).

 {h}^{2}  =  {l}^{2}   -   {r}^{2}  \\  =169 - 25 \\  = 144  \\ h =  \sqrt{144}  \\ h = 12
so
volume \: of \: a \: cone =  \frac{1}{3} \pi {r}^{2} h \\  =  \frac{1}{3}  \times 3.14 \times 25 \times 12 \\  = 3.14 \times 25 \times 4 \\  = 3.14 \times 100 \\  = 314
