x²-4x-5=0
- x=1,-1
On Putting The value of x=1 we get,
→1¹+(-4×1)-5=0
→1-4-5=0
8≠0
∴ x = 1 is not the root of the given quadratic equation.
On Putting The value of x=-1 we get,
→(-1)²+(-4×-1)-5=0
→1+4-5=0
→5-5=0
0=0
∴ x = -1 is the root of the given quadratic equation.
Only x=(-1) is the root of the Given Quadratic Equation
