By using distance formula,
(2) square = (x-2) square+(3-5) square
4 = x^2-4x+4+4
4 = x^2-4x+8
x^2-4x+8-4 = 0
x^2-4x+4 = 0
x^2-2x-2x+4= 0
x(x-2)-2(x-2) = 0
(x-2)(x-2) = 0
x = 2

sai928: but we should get answer as 1
ridhya77677: how..
ridhya77677: my answer is not correct
ridhya77677: ???
sai928: for slope we have to use=y2-y1 by x2-x1
sai928: then we get =3-5 by x-2 =2 after this -2=2x-4 next 2x=2 the answer is x=1.
sai928: ok is it Clear
