DEVELOPMENT-Cell growth (or interphase) is shorthand for the idea of "growth in cell populations" by means of cell reproduction. It is the stage which cells are preparing for the next division, biochemical activities and reactions are taking place, however no obvious changes can be seen at this stage.
FUNCTION-
Cells are the basic building blocks of all living things. The human body is composed of trillions of cells. They providestructure for the body, take in nutrients from food, convert those nutrients into energy, and carry out specialized functions.
