Optical center : a point on the axis of a lens that is so located that any ray of light passing through it in passing through the lens suffers no net deviation and that may be within, without, or on either surface of the lens.
Center of curvature : the center of sphere of which the spherical is a part is called center of curvature of that mirror
Aperture: The circular are that determine the amount of light falling on a mirror or a lens is it's aperture.
Principal focus: when the Rays falling on the mirror are parallel to the principal axis and appear to converge at a point , then that point is called principal focus.
Focal length: the distance of focus from the pole is called focal length.
