I woke up to the sound of birds singing. Then I heard a loud bang and a thud downstairs, Then I heard a soft voice shushing someone. I carefully stood up, making sure not to make any noise. I grabbed a can of pepper spray and my lucky bat. When I peeped outside, The lights were off and there was an eerie silence. I counted in my head, 3 2 1. I Ran down the stairs and aimed my can of -pepper spray. I couldn't see anything, suddenly, someone turned the lights on. I winced and ran back into my room, but, before i could even move an inch, I was grabbed from the back and was whirled around, to my family... in front of a cake,,, singing happy birthday. I completely forgot about my birthday, It was a fun experience and we even played laser tag!
