I went to the fair with my Dad on Friday. It was very crowded and there were a lot of interesting stalls. I found a big crowd in one corner. I wanted to go and see what was happening there. But, my father told me to wait for some time. He was busy checking out something that he had been searching for in one of the stalls. After glancing at that stall and the other two stalls on either side, I started getting bored and started looking at the crowded corner. I was sure there were a lot of exciting games and rides happening there.

Suddenly, I heard a familiar voice call out my name from behind. I turned back and saw my best friend with his elder brother. They asked me to join them for the games in that corner. Although I hesitated for a moment, I soon went with them without telling my father. Just 10 minutes later, I heard an announcement over a mike mentioning my name and the dress I had worn. The announcer asked me to come to a particular stall as my Dad was searching for me. I felt guilty and ran to the stall immediately. When I saw his worried look, I burst into tears. I was afraid that he would scold me for what I had done. Instead, he just smiled, gave me a big hug and a kiss on my forehead. I vowed to myself that day that thereafter, I would not go anywhere without telling him.
