Development ia a bane Because of advancement there is pollution all round. The people at the age of development didn't think about the after effects of development which can't be rectified now. In the olden days, with no pollution, the food supply was surplus, adequate environment was green which didn't cause the temperatures to rise due to which people could live peacefully. Development is a bane because the people at that time didn't think about its after effects due to which we are facing more problems than living peacefully.
