area = 9 msq, area of square = a^2

a^2 = 9

a = 3

so we have side = 3 meter

1 meter = 100 cm

so 3 meter = 300 cm

the area will be 300*300 = 90000 cmsq

Devika wants to divide it in 16 equal square of same area

so 90000/16 = 5625 cmsq will be the area of 1 square

area of 1 square = 5625 cmsq

a^2 = 5625

a = 75 cm

so devika can made 16 squares of side 75x75 cm out of a 3x3 m long square piece of cloth
