Devika has a square pieces of cloths of area 9 m square and she wants to make 16 square shaped scarves of equal size out of it .what should possibly be the length of the side of the scarf that can be made out of this pieces?

lenght of each piece be x
convert 9m^2 in cm^2
i.e. 90000 cm^2
now
16=90000÷x^2
x^2=90000/16
x=300/4
x=75cm
75cm =0.75 m
"0.75m" is your answer
