Solution :-

Let us assume that, dheeraj invested Rs.x in scheme B .

so,

→ Principal in scheme A = Rs.(23000 - x)

→ Rate = 20% per annum .

→ Time = 1 year .

then,

→ Amount = P + SI = (23000 - x) + {(23000 - x) * 20 * 1}/100 = Rs. (6/5)(23000 - x)

now,

→ Principal in scheme B = Rs. x

→ Rate = 10% per annum

→ Time = 1 year .

then,

→ Amount = P[1 + (R/100)]^T = x * [1 + (10/100)]¹ = Rs. (11x/10)

A/q,

→ (6/5)(23000 - x) = (11x/10)

→ 12 * 23000 - 12x = 11x

→ 12x + 11x = 12 * 23000

→ 23x = 12 * 23000

→ x = 12 * 1000

→ x = Rs.12000 (Ans.)

Hence, Dheeraj invested Rs.12000 in scheme B .
