Dhiraj has twice as many sisters as he has brothers.If Dipa,Dhiraj's sister has same number of brothers as she has sisters then Dipa has how many brothers??..guys i need its solution!!

Let dhiraj has x brother and y sisters

so according to question, y=2x

now as per dipa's view point, she has same number of brother as she has sisters

since total sisters = y, but from view point of dipa, she'll be having (y-1) sisters

because she would minus her count from the total y

and dipa would be having (x+1) brothers, because we'll add the counting of Dhiraj in this

therfore, as per DIPA; x+1=y-1

putting y=2x from the first equation in equation written above

x+1 = 2x-1

1+1=x

x=2 which implies, y=2x2=4

so dipa has (x+1) brothers

answer is 2+1= 3 brothers
