Uttarakand floods began on 7 February 2021 near the environments of Nanda Devi national park. It had happened in the chamoli district of uttarakand. Due to the breaking off of Nanda Devi glacier on early 7 February by bringing the water trapped behind the ice. Due to the over flow of the glacier this flood had happened. Due to too much of rains the water behind the ice had got an excess flow and broke the ice and formed as floods.
