it is basically refered to the choices the poet made in the poem..The roads are actually two choices of life from which the poet choses the second one...The tiltle of the story is based on this theme only the road (choice ) not taken by the poet and what twist came in his life by not taking that choice. the last paragraph of the poem is dealing with the feelings of the poet at the end when he has chosen the second road.
