Triangle ABD and triangle ABC have same base AB and between same parallels AB and DC.
∴ar( ∆ ABD)=ar( ∆ ABC)
subtracting ar( ∆ AOB) on both sides.
ar( ∆ ABD)-ar( ∆ AOB)=ar( ∆ ABC)
ar( ∆ AOD)=ar( ∆ BOC)
∴ar( ∆ ABD)=ar( ∆ ABC)
subtracting ar( ∆ AOB) on both sides.
ar( ∆ ABD)-ar( ∆ AOB)=ar( ∆ ABC)
ar( ∆ AOD)=ar( ∆ BOC)
