In the rectangle PQRS, 
Since ∠POS = 40°,
   ∴     ∠QOR= 40° (Vertically opposite angles)
∠POQ + ∠POS = 180° (straight angle)
∴ ∠POQ = 180 - 40 = 140°

∴∠ROS= 140° (Vertically Opposite Angles)
