diagonals of rhombus

diagonal 1 (d1)=10.6 cm

diagonal 2 (d2)=12.8 cm

area of rhombus = d1 x d2 = 10.6 cm x 12.8 cm = 135.68 sq. cm

area of parallelogram = area of rhombus = 135.68 sq. cm

area of parallelogram = base x height(altitude)

            135.68 sq. cm = 10 cm x height

                   135.68/10 = height

                 13.568 = height

Answer:

6.784 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

We have to find,

AREA of RHOMBUS = diagonal 1 × diagonal 2 =10.6 × 12.8 = 135.68 sq.cm

We know that,

area of rhombus = area of parallelogram

Area of PARALLELOGRAM = BASE × HEIGHT

135.68 = 10 × h

135.68 ÷ 10 = h

height = 13.568
