When we blow out,we release the carbon dioxide molecules. They push the oxygen and other molecules in the air out of the way as they sink down over the flame and candle. When oxygen is pushed away from the wick, it can't react with the wax anymore.

Answer:

  • A burning candle goes out when we blow on it because blowing removes the hot air around the flame, bringing down its temperature below the flash point.
