Answers
Fable was written by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
Poet described here that people have different qualities. We will not underestimate anyone about their qualities means we don't have that right. Everyone has a different quality, like in this poem the poet told about the relationship between mountain and squirrel. They both are important for our environment like a mountain is important to carry the forest, at the same time squirrel is important for cracking a nut.
Mountain called to Squirrel a little prig because she is not as huge as a mountain. Squirrel replied that you are huge but you don't have as much energy as she has. Their talent is different.
The poem ‘Fable’ is a short tale to teach a lesson. In this poem, Emerson tells us not to be judgmental towards anyone.
Everybody has their distinct capacities and needs to be respected for the same.
Poet Ralph Waldo Emerson uses mountain and a squirrel as metaphors where he tells that even though mountains can carry forests in their backs but they can’t crack nuts like a squirrel.
