Diameter of circular ground is 98 metre. If a student walks14 metre per minute at the edge of the ground then how much minute does he walk ?

The perimeter of the circular ground is  P=2\pi r=\pi d , where  d is the diameter of the ground.

Substituting numerical values,

 P=\pi (98)=307.876\;m .

The time taken to walk around the ground is

 t=\frac{307.876}{v }\\<br />t=\frac{307.876}{14 }\\<br />t=21.99\;minutes
