Dear Diary,
Yesterday, I celebrated Father's Day. It was such an unforgettable experience. I loved it! We went to school as usual, but it was only for half-day. In school, there was a big celebration and many competitions. The best part- we had no classes! The dances were done by some students in 10th standard. Singing was done by 9th standard, speech by 8th standard, a skit by 7th standard and story telling by the 6th standard. Primary classes did not participate n the stage. They viewed our performance and also participated in the competitions. We also had a lecture by our chief guest about Father's Day. It was compulsory for us to create a Father's day greeting card. I made a beautiful one, with pop ups inside! Mine won first prize! At the end, my teachers organised a special treasure hunt only for the 7th grade. We had 4 teams. But sadly, our team didn't win, but we got a chocolate for participating. At the end, everyone in the school got a piece of cake! I enjoyed the day a lot and am looking forward to next year's Father's Day.
