Diary entry feeling when Nick went to school

Dear Diary,

      Today was really a wonderful day for me. Today was my first day of school. I was first having butterflies in my stomach when I saw its' huge infrastructure. I went inside with my mom holding her hand so tightly so that to ensure that she doesn't leave me in the school. I entered the class with a strange feeling in my mind. I was only inquisitive about the new faces in the class that I totally forgot that my mom left me. I was filled with panic that I started to roam hear and there to find my mom. But they didn't allow me to get out of the class and finally when the school bell rang I raced out with my bag and reached home where I was offered a treat by my mom for attending the first day of school.
