Diary entry of educational trip to a historical place with our schools

Dear Diary,
Today was an exciting day, as I went on my first ever, out of town excursion with my class.
We were taken to this city ______, in a bus as a part of educational tour project. We were a group of 40 students accompanied by 3 teachers. We left at 9 Am after breakfast reached the (historical place) at 10:30 Am. This place left us awestruck. A wonderful creation from the past was so beautiful. Our teacher explained all about the use of materials, stones, intricate inlay work and lots of hardwork in its construction. After that we left from there to see other historical places.
Lunch was planned at the Food court outlet there. It was great sharing meals with friends and feeling all grown up without parent supervision. After that we were taken shopping. I picked up some beautiful ear rings for my sister, a leather purse for my mom and a key chain for my dad. I enjoyed the trip back home thoroughly we were singing playing different games inside the bus.
Now I am very tired and sleepy. Hope that I dream myself as an emperor of those beautiful places.
