How do you feel after you meet a person after a long time?
There will be many instances in our lives when we meet persons after a gap of certain number of years. Yesterday, I met a person who was a colleague of mine, after ten years. We both were very happy to meet each other after such a long time. We exchanged pleasantries. He complimented me by saying that I looked the same even after 10 years. Can you express your feelings if someone meets you after a long time and compliments you in a similar fashion?
This is sounding great the way expressed this.
It more depends on the quality of time I had spent with him/her, when we were together. If any of my close one meets me after 10 years, definitely I'll feel overwhelmed, will go across all old things with in a short while. We will relive those moments.
As I am proceeding to writing this I am feeling that meeting anybody after 10 years will be a good experience. When we can recall our looks and our surrounding, even that much would be great to exchange in words.
Till now do not have such experience but hope may be in future i may get such opportunity.Regards:

yes people starts boasting and recollecting the things they have shared in past during the surprise meet of them after long time. I too has such experience quite often on the meeting of school classmates suddenly, we recollects the days and incidents which happened in the past and at the same sometime compares them with present trends.There are some things that money just cannot buy, like manners, morals and intelligence.
I must say that it is quite an exciting experience to meet someone you know after a long gap. There will be so much to recollect and discuss.
Recently, I happened to meet an old friend of mine. He was my class mate in school and we were sort of best friends. We were in touch through letters and emails. He came on an official trip to Chennai and I also happened to be there. We were meeting after almost 27 years and felt so elated. In fact we could not speak for a few minutes. We were looking at each other. He had become almost bald and had put on lot of weight. He was quite surprised that I had not changed much.'Knowing others is wisdom, knowing yourself is Enlightenment.
It is really nice to meet such people after a long gap. I have incidents both friends as well as relatives and I may not express how my feeling was at that time. Not only personal meeting I happened to meet one of my friend via chat after a gap of 20 years which is really a nice experience to talk on various subjects even like how we shared our lunch during lunch break to how we shared our knowledgeable moments while working. This really took back 20 years back.Nice to be in ISC and feel the difference.
The feeling is really exciting and joyful. It usually happens with our friends, colleagues or relatives. It is really nice experience to meet after a long time. We remember all old golden memories spend with them. We will be discussing and asking about each other. We will go back in same days we happily enjoyed for some time. Then we start asking about others who were working, studying with us. At last we promise each other to be in touch.
It is an overwhelming feeling to meet someone, especially a dear friend, after a long time. This moment is as much a nostalgic one as it is enjoyable.
Once I met one of my classmate after a gap of almost 12 years. He was there in my class since nursery, but left the school in 5th standard.
And one fine day, after 12 long years, another friend of mine surprised me by bringing along that old classmate of ours. It was just amazing and I cannot express the joy such meeting brings along with it.
After that we spent so much time just remembering old school days and had great get together thereafter.
