Dear Diary
Today was a disappointing day for me
My knowledge that I often boast about betrayed me
Colonel Turnball comes to class- explains about grenade
I was excited to share the information I knew
he asked me to take class
He then said the platoon has asked for and before he finished his sentence, I volunteered considering myself the only eligible person.
When he completed his sentence, I realised it was for cookhouse duties
Just got back from the kitchen after peeling the potatoes- frustrated- I shouldn't have been too hasty to speak.
